Don’t Fear Your Dentist

Many people fear the dental chair. Kids can be especially nervous visiting the dentist. Foothill’s dental providers are especially skilled in keeping your child’s visit calm and comfortable.

Flossing and Brushing Tips

Try removing trapped food from between your teeth by flossing before you brush. Change your tooth brush at least every 3-4 months and always brush with the bristles at a 45-degree angle.

Oral Health Goes Beyond Your Teeth and Gums

Scientists have linked oral disease to a number of systemic conditions such as:

  • Cardiovascular disease and stroke
  • Respiratory infection
  • Diabetes
  • Premature birth & low birth weight
Researchers believe that oral bacteria get into the bloodstream and cause problems throughout the body.
