The Foothill Family Community Clinic (FCHC) has a dedicated leadership team that is highly experienced and dedicated to the mission of the organization, serving the needs of the East and South Side San Jose community.

CEORAMÓN E. PEÑA is a highly recognized healthcare industry executive with an extensive history of significant contributions to the public and private healthcare sector. As the CEO of Foothill Community Health Center (FCHC formerly SJFFCC) he is responsible for leading the organization’s healthcare professionals and dedicated staff. As one of the key community clinics in the region, Foothill delivers healthcare services to a very large underserved population within California’s third largest city. The Center is a vibrant part of the social network that provides access to healthcare and helps remove the artificial barriers to healthcare that many low income families face in the community.

Prior to his role at FCHC he was CEO of Salud Para La Gente and earlier in his career Ramon held senior executive finance positions at El Camino Hospital, San Mateo County Hospitals and the Indian Health Center.

CFO: SALVADOR CHAVARIN has an extensive background in leading financial organizations in the healthcare industry. He routinely manages multi-million budgets and is adept at instituting Best Practices accounting systems. His managerial experience spans organization design, team leadership, and process improvement. He is dedicated to building, mentoring, and maintaining top-performing talent. He is certified in Medical Coding and has a Clinic Leadership Institute.

Prior to his role at FCHC Salvador held senior executive finance and IT positions at Salud Para La Gente and Clinca De Salud Del Valle De Salinas. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Computer Science (Minor in Accounting) from California State University Monterey Bay, Seaside, California

Director, Grants and Programs: ROY JIMENEZ, MPH has wealth of experience in developing healthcare organizations and public health. Roy’s deep knowledge is invaluable to the organization and its ability to secure federal, state and private grants. These grants are a core component to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) such as FCHC. Roy leads a dedicated team of staff and volunteers in his effort to enhance the organizations breadth of services that the center provides to the community.

Prior to his role at FCHC he held similar positions at Salud Para La Gente, California State Department of Health, Family Health Foundation of Alviso, and Growth and Opportunities of Gilroy. Roy holds a Master’s Degree in Public Healthcare Management and Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Health Education from Fresno State University. Roy also received post graduate training in health management from Harvard University.
